Today, the lives of children and young people are influenced by media of all kinds more than ever before. Protecting children and young people from negative influences of media on their development requires particular commitment.

As a media service provider, I consider this responsibility to be especially important. Ensuring a high level of youth protection is an integral part of my daily work as the provider of an on-demand audiovisual media service for people in Austria. Youth protection requirements are taken into account in the creation of my content just as naturally as they form part of my general creative work.

Together with other media service providers in Austria, I aim to ensure a high and, as far as possible, consistent level of protection.

I therefore declare that I recognise the Verein zur Selbstkontrolle audiovisueller Medienangebote zum Schutz von Minderjährigen (Association for the Self-Regulation of Audiovisual Media Services for the Protection of Minors, Austrian association register number: 1686796152) and that I will fully comply with the industry-wide Youth Media Protection Code of Conduct developed for this purpose in its respective current version, in accordance with Section 39(4) of the Austrian Audiovisual Media Services Act (AMD-G).

I further declare that I fully recognise the association's Rules of Procedure and complaints system in their respective current versions, in accordance with Section 32a of the Austrian KommAustria Act (KOG).

Das Leben von Kindern und Jugendlichen ist heute mehr denn je von Medien aller Art durchdrungen. Der Schutz vor negativen Einflüssen durch Medien auf die Entwicklung von Kindern und Jugendlichen erfordert besonderes Engagement.

Als Mediendiensteanbieter ist mir diese Verantwortung ein besonderes Anliegen. Die Sicherstellung eines hohen Jugendschutzniveaus ist Bestandteil meiner täglichen Arbeit als Anbieter eines Video-Abrufdienstes für die Menschen in Österreich. Die Anforderungen des Jugendschutzes fließen in die Gestaltung meiner Inhalte ebenso selbstverständlich mit ein, wie sie Bestandteil meiner sonstigen Gestaltungsarbeit sind.

Gemeinsam mit anderen Mediendiensteanbietern in Österreich möchte ich ein hohes und möglichst einheitliches Schutzniveau sicherstellen.

Ich erkläre daher, dass ich den „Verein zur Selbstkontrolle audiovisueller Medienangebote zum Schutz von Minderjährigen“ (ZVR-Zahl: 1686796152) anerkenne und die zu diesem Zweck entwickelten branchenweiten Jugendmedienschutz-Verhaltensrichtlinien in ihrer jeweils aktuellen Form vollumfänglich einhalten werde (§ 39 Abs. 4 AMD-G).

Ich erkläre außerdem, dass ich die Verfahrensordnung und das Beschwerdesystem des Vereins in ihrer jeweils aktuellen Form vollumfänglich anerkenne (§ 32a KOG).
